What to Wear for Your Photoshoot

One of the most common questions I get asked is: “What should we wear?” Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered.
Here are some simple tips to help you feel comfortable, confident, and look amazing in your photos:

Soft, neutral colours (like beige, cream, dusty pink, olive green, navy, and grey) work beautifully with my warm, natural editing style.
Avoid bright neon's and very bold patterns, as they can distract from your lovely faces and the beautiful surroundings!

Adding layers like cardigans, scarves, or denim jackets can add depth and interest to your images. Textured fabrics like linen, knitwear, and denim photograph beautifully and give a lovely, cozy feel.

For the best results, I recommend soft, flowy outfits like long dresses, maxi skirts, or loose tops.
Neutral and earthy colours (like beige, soft pink, olive, or dusty blue) always photograph beautifully with my natural editing style.

For a relaxed, natural look, I recommend chinos or jeans paired with a neutral tee, button-up shirt, or knit jumper.
Layers like shackets, jackets, or simply rolling up sleeves can add great texture and style to your photos.

For little ones, keep outfits simple and comfortable. Think cute dungarees, little dresses, or soft jumpers — things they can run, cuddle, and play in without feeling restricted.

Still not sure what to wear? Don’t worry — I’m always happy to help you plan your outfits if you need a second opinion!
