Before we even pick up the camera, I want to get to know you a little.
We'll chat about the people being photographed, what makes you laugh, how you are together and what you'd love to see hanging in your home.
From there, I'll help with the little details, including what to wear and where we'll shoot, so everything comes together in a way that feels right for you.

QUESTIONS?
What if my children won't co-operate? Please don't worry! I'm a mum of five, so I know children don't always follow the plan. I'll get to know a little about your children before the session, including their personalities and what helps them feel comfortable. We'll work at their pace, take breaks when needed and keep things fun. You don't need perfectly behaved children to have beautiful family portraits.
What should we wear? Don't worry, I won't leave you staring at your wardrobe wondering what on earth everyone should wear! Clothing plays a big part in the finished portrait, so I'll help you choose outfits, colours and textures that work beautifully together. We'll plan everything around the look we're creating, so you can feel comfortable knowing all those little details have been thought about.
Do we need to know how to pose? Not at all! That's my job. I'll guide you throughout the session, helping you feel comfortable and making sure everyone knows what they're doing. My portraits are carefully arranged, but that doesn't mean stiff smiles or awkward poses. I want the real affection, laughter and personalities to shine through, even when I've planned the photograph down to the little details.
Where will our session take place? I photograph families, couples and maternity portraits outdoors across Coventry and Warwickshire, including Kenilworth and Leamington Spa. We'll choose a location together that suits the portraits we're creating. Whether that's a quiet woodland, an open field or somewhere a little different, I'll help find the right setting. You don't need to worry about finding the perfect spot. That's all part of the planning!
What happens after our photoshoot? This is where everything starts coming together! I'll carefully select and work on your photographs, bringing out the colours, light and little details that give my portraits their signature look. Once they're ready, you'll be able to view your finished portraits and choose your favourites, along with the prints included in your chosen collection. Then comes the best bit! Seeing your photographs find their place in your home.
Can we bring our dog? Absolutely! If your dog is part of the family, they're more than welcome to join in. Just let me know beforehand so we can choose a suitable location and plan around them. And don't worry if they're not perfectly behaved, a little chaos can make for some wonderful portraits!
