You might be wondering...
What if I am nervous? Honestly, most women are. In fact, one of the most common things I hear is ‘I could never do that’ — right before they do. You do not need modelling experience or confidence before booking. My sessions are fully guided and designed to feel relaxed, supportive and completely judgement free. We go at your pace and I’ll guide you through everything step by step
Can I bring somebody with me? To help keep the session relaxed and focused, boudoir sessions are currently attended by the client only. I’ve found this helps women settle into the experience more naturally without feeling observed or self conscious. I’ll guide you throughout the session and we always go at your pace.
Do I need to know how to pose? Not at all. Most of the women I photograph have never done anything like this before. I’ll guide you throughout the session with gentle posing, movement and expression prompts so you never feel awkward or unsure of what to do. My approach is relaxed and natural, so nothing needs to feel stiff or overly posed.
Is my hair & make up included? Hair and makeup is not currently included, but you are more than welcome to book your own professional hair and makeup artist if you would like to. Some women love having the full glam experience, while others prefer a softer, more natural look. There’s absolutely no pressure either way — the session is about feeling comfortable and like yourself.
What do I wear? You can wear as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. Some women choose lingerie, while others prefer oversized shirts, knitwear, bodysuits or even simple bedsheets. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable and like yourself. Once booked, I’ll help guide you with ideas and styling suggestions so you don’t have to figure it all out alone.
Where do sessions take place? Sessions currently take place in carefully chosen hotel rooms, hired spaces or suitable indoor locations across Warwickshire. I choose spaces with beautiful natural light and a calm, relaxed atmosphere to help you feel as comfortable as possible during your session.
Can I keep my session private? Absolutely. Your comfort and privacy are incredibly important to me. While I may ask for permission to share a few images for my portfolio or social media, there is never any pressure to say yes. You are completely in control of what is shared, if anything at all.
What if I don’t look like the women in your portfolio? You really do not need to look a certain way to book a boudoir session. The women you see in my portfolio are everyday women who were often nervous too. Boudoir is not about being perfect ... it’s about capturing you as you are right now.
