A Sunny Morning with Stace and Her Family at The Charterhouse

On Sunday 6th April, I had the pleasure of photographing Stace and her lovely family on what turned out to be a beautiful spring morning. We met at The Charterhouse in Coventry, a location full of charm, character, and gorgeous backdrops, especially when the sun decides to show up!

Stace was joined by her partner James, their two teenage sons, and their younger daughter. The whole family arrived looking effortlessly coordinated in black, with their daughter standing out beautifully in blue outfit that added a lovely pop of colour to the images.

As anyone with teenagers will know, getting them excited about a photoshoot can take a little time—and that was definitely the case here! But with some gentle encouragement (and a few laughs along the way), the boys gradually relaxed into it. By the end of the session, we’d captured some truly lovely moments, full of personality and connection.

This session was all about capturing the family looking their best while still feeling like themselves. With the Charterhouse as our setting, we found the perfect locations for their classic portraits.

Stace and her family made the most of the sunshine, the setting, and each other. I’m so pleased with how the photos turned out. Thank you all for being so open and fun, it was a real joy to spend the morning with you!
