Amrita’s Dreamy Family & Maternity Photoshoot at War Memorial Park

Styled Photography Sessions in Coventry & Warwickshire

This shoot was one of those that just felt right from the very start. Gentle, warm, full of real connection.

Amrita got in touch wanting something special to mark this next chapter, a little bit maternity, a little bit family, and definitely something with meaning. She chose one of my styled family shoots, which is ideal when you want beautiful images but don’t want to stress about outfits or how it’ll all come together.

When you book a styled session with me, it’s not about turning up in matching jeans and t-shirts (unless that’s your vibe .... no judgment!) It’s about working together to create something that feels like you, just elevated a little. I guide you through clothing options, offer outfit choices from my client wardrobe, and help make sure everything ties together. From textures to colours to location.

For Amrita, I chose a white lace dress from my collection, it was perfect for showing off her growing bump without feeling too formal. Her daughter, Asees, wore a soft pink dress with floaty layers that caught the light as she ran and played. I suggested natural tones for her husband, and the combination worked so beautifully against the backdrop of The War Memorial Park in Coventry.

With little ones, I never expect them to stand still and pose, especially not at three years old! We let Asees take the lead. She wandered, explored, picked flowers, and got cuddles when she needed them. I stepped back and quietly photographed the moments in between, the ones that are hard to plan but always end up meaning the most.

There was one moment where she gently tucked a flower into Amrita’s hair while they sat on the grass, and Amrita just beamed. It was so natural, so full of love and it’s exactly why I do things this way.

While Asees was busy picking flowers and playing nearby, I took a few quiet moments to photograph Amrita and her husband together. These soft, calm portraits of just the two of them, holding her bump, looking at each other, they say so much about where they are in life right now.

Every styled shoot is different, because every family is different. My job isn’t to make you fit into a certain mould, it’s to gently shape the session around you, so the photos feel honest but still a little bit magical.
