Meet the Photographer: The Heart Behind the Camera

If you’re anything like me, you’ve got a camera roll full of everyday moments, snapped between school runs, dinner time, and days out. But how often are you in those photos? And when was the last time you had a photo of your family that made you stop and feel something?

Hi, I’m Jemma and I’m here for the families who want to press pause for a moment and capture the magic in the chaos.

I’m based in Coventry, where I live with my husband Dan, our five brilliant children, and our cheeky dog, Buddy. I know what it’s like to juggle everything and still want to hold onto the little moments because they really do fly by.

When you book a session with me, it’s not about stiff posing or awkward smiles. It’s about real connection. I’ll gently guide you so you feel comfortable, but I also leave room for the natural moments, the in-between giggles, the hugs, the wind in your hair. Some of my favourite images are the ones where your child is mid-laugh or running wild through the grass, completely themselves.

I love creating a mix of posed and candid photos that feel warm, honest, and full of feeling. My style is often described as moody and natural, with a soft, artistic finish, like a memory captured in a way that feels timeless.

We’ll choose a beautiful outdoor spot, take a walk, chat, play, and capture the kind of images that make you say “that’s so us.” And don’t worry if the kids are shy, silly, or full of beans. I’ve got plenty of patience, and I know how to turn their energy into magic.

More than anything, I want you to feel seen. To look at your gallery and feel the love, the connection, the beauty in your everyday.
